The room with a view of the sunset. This accommodation had a remote setting on ridge above Hokitika looking across farmland to sea.

Can just recommend this place and would stay here again. I got new-fashioned and well presented room, it was included with a large bed, comfortable furnishings including a large bed, good linen. The location was quiet and historic to operate the restaurant.

The food was delightful and the location was perfect. Our rooms were a nice size with luxurious bedding. The staff was very friendly - we will be back;))

We had an amazing stay at a charming inn with stunning views towards the sea. Our room was impeccably clean and had all the necessary facilities, including a lovely spa bath where we relaxed after a long day of exploring. The friendly staff provided excellent service and made us feel warmly welcomed throughout our stay. The location was ideal, with the ocean in the distant background and a peaceful atmosphere that allowed us to fully unwind.

We were disappointed to find out that the restaurant was temporarily closed during our visit.
